Will this be an out, or a home run?

Today marks just 6 legislative days left for Congress to find a bipartisan solution GMO labeling solution to block Vermont’s

CFSAF leaders representing every corner of the American food supply value chain called on Chairman Roberts and Ranking Member Stabenow yesterday to act immediately to find a bipartisan compromise.

While we’re encouraged by reports that talks are moving forward – getting close to a deal is not enough.

A fly ball that is caught just short of the wall is an out, not a home run. We’re in the 9th inning, and we need a home run.

As the week draws to a close, we’ll leave you with several must-reads highlighting our continued calls for action.

There is no greater issue facing America’s farmers and food producers than this one. We must find a bipartisan, national GMO labeling solution that protects safe, affordable foods — before it is too late.
